This will be an indoor and outdoor gathering of Black Birthworkers (Doulas, Midwives, Lactation and Childbirth Educators) and Black pregnant and postpartum families. The purpose of the event is to celebrate Black maternal wellness in the community and connect Black Birthworkers to Black Birthing Families. Our event will include food, Birthworker/Doula activities, networking, community resource tables and more.

A virtual salon panel discussion of the healing of our wombs through the modality of birthwork. Join us to deeper connect and gently root into our collective womb consciousness, divine feminine wellness and birth justice.

Conversation will include:

  • The importance of radical self care in private doula practices

  • Unique birth stories that center joy when trauma presents itself

  • Liberation through nonviolent communication with our wombs

  • Self-reflection and awareness as a integral component of community doula work

THE REVOLUTION IS IN THE WOMB - (VIRTUAL) Panel Discussion on Zoom

A salon panel discussion on holistic healing, anchoring the power of the divine feminine and reproductive wellness for Black Women. Conversations about activating the divine feminine, creating wholeness within our wombs and in our own consciousness. We would like to call in a space that centers our healed and whole selves, moving us beyond habitual reaction to the disparities and the injustices of the world.

We invite you to assemble with us in a virtual salon to participate in creating intentions and solutions for emotional, physical, spiritual womb health in our community.

A father's support group created with the intention to create conversation, community and counsel amongst fathers who share the layered experience of fatherhood.

You are invited to bring your offerings to this public community Altar. We will collectively build an altar to honor the womb as the seat of divine creation. Let’s give thanks to the Creator, Mother Earth and our Ancestors who gave us LIFE.  Inclusive of all spiritual paths. A Powerful Expose of Human Rights Abuses in Women’s Prisons

When an unlikely duo discovers a pattern of illegal sterilizations in women’s prisons, they wage a near impossible battle against the Department of Corrections. Filmed over seven years with extraordinary access and intimate accounts from currently and formerly incarcerated people, BELLY OF THE BEAST exposes modern-day eugenics and reproductive injustice in California prisons. 

Following the film join us in a discussion about how we as Black women and communities can shift from victimization to reclaiming our autonomy within a human rights framework.
