DONATE
Help us create better birth and postpartum outcomes in the Black community for generations to come.
Your donations are critical in helping us create perinatal programs that impactfully connect Black/African American families with Black/African American doulas to fulfill the need for conscious healthcare connections and advocacy that facilitates empowered communication with healthcare providers, communities and consumers around birth justice and human rights at birth.
Our outcome impact is tri-fold but not limited to:
Support
the journey of birthing families as they navigate and co-create healthy pregnancy, birth and postpartum experiences that center their unique voices and culturally specific needs.
Provide
community-doula support, which is evidence to reduce non-emergency cesarean rates, improve patient satisfaction in childbirth experiences, and increase breast/chestfeeding rates.
Develop
the doula workforce and support the Black/African American birthworker pipeline by creating income streams for Black community doulas, responsible for delivery of services within their scope of practice.
Since 2019, we have directly impacted over 800 families and 136+ doulas through our various programs and initiatives in California and the United States.
